Pastel Egg shaped mixing bowls

I love these egg shaped mixing bowls that I found while Treasure Hunting (that’s what we call second hand shopping around here) … not knowing what you are going to happen upon is exciting! True, it can get you with the “impulse buy” but there are usually such good deals at these shops or garage sales that it doesn’t really do that much damage to the pocket book. Unless you get addicted…which could happen. One of my favorite things to do of all time is to go second hand shopping because there is such an array of different items and brands, and variety is the spice of life. Its so fun finding real vintage items, too. I am always surprised at how much fun the other shoppers and I have in finding value in other people’s unwanted things. Its a satisfaction better than shopping at normal stores because there isn’t so much of the buyer’s remorse and such afterward…things are spendy these days!
Just in time for the holiday! These are the most adorable bowls, I LOVE them. Egg shaped and pastel colored…aaawww! Happy Easter! More pics coming soon!

Those are egg shaped bowls are scrumptious! The egg shape is so unusual, but so CUTE. I love those pastel colors. It makes me want to whip up a batch of lightly colored buttercream frosting ala 1940′s housewife.
Those are the cutest bowls ever!! What a find, I LOVE those pastel colors. I wonder what time and in which decade these colors were the latest trend — besides now. And egg shaped! Happy Spring!!!
I like the birdhouse, too.
I LOVE the birdhouse, Tracelaine, my sister painted it for me at my house. I will post better pictures of it along with more birdhouse fun stuff soon. I have always loved special painting moments with my family.
